Bendigo get together

I think the place in Eaglehawk may be the former residence of the people who had the housenat the corner of Eaglehawk Rd and Barnard St. we were lucky to get some of the larger plants from there before the new people moved in and the plants were destined for the tip. the huge plant at the front was sold off to a landscaper. we are at Junortoun about 10ks out of Bendigo.

Hmmm im not to sure Gracie it most likely was. If the house that im thinking of which you are talking about, is up from the QEO and near a car dealership, I remember always looking at the big cactus out the front.
Robert Fields told us that, that big one at the front was originally in Ehawk and when the residents moved, they took it with them. Something happened to it years ago and Robert ended up with a piece of it at his Cactus Farm. Like you said, now the plant isnt there so yes i believe it was sold off. My dad never listened when i told him to go buy it!! Hahaha.

The house i was referring to in my topic is in a side street in long gully.

Ive been rostered for next 2 weekends at work have Wed and Thurs off dont know hoe that fits with others.
