| Hi Folks,
I picked up some cheap plants last weekend.
The first I pick as some kind of Gymnocalycium??
the second one I can't even guess at. all I can note is.. the spines are flat (paper spines? ) and they terminate at a red ish aeroles -

I was sure it was just like those grafted variegated

| 'Semi-nudum' is a made-up name for Echinopsis subdenudata (a different nearly spineless plant) distributed by Paradisia nursery. You can find any number of different Echinopsis species and hybrids masquerading under this nametag though.
On second glace WT's plant could be a hybrid with E.eyresii.. or just about any other Echinopsis for that matter. 'Echinopsis hybrid' will do  |
