| One week has passed since sown seeds. Last week was too hot in SA. Unfortunately my heating plate can lift temperature to the set point but it can not cool down to the set point. The germinatioin was started on 20/11/09. The germination ratio is poor but it is still progressing. I think I have got enough numbers of seedlings for going to the competition. http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2932114950044113659asBXFB |

| http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2643293450044113659IPFmoAThis competion has given a good oppotunity to try very young seedling grafting. I saw a note on the internet said "It was possible to graft Astrophytum seedlings, 2 days after germination." I grafted a 2 days old Ario seedling at 10:00 am yesterday. I am not sure this can take or not. I took a photo this morning. |
