| Just wanted to check what I should do. I potted my cacti up when we moved house 2 months ago. As was noticed from the photos I submitted - I used just regular potting mix.
I now have some cacti specific mix. Am I OK to repot or should I give the roots recovery time? If so, how much? |

| | If you have them outside i probably would since we have had a rather wet winter so far, if they are dry i would probably leave them till late september. |

| I would have thought you could repot at any time of the year with the temps you have up that away. I will repot a cactus any time of year down here, its a case of when I have the time. Keep it dry afterwards and no ill affects. _________________ Betty

| Its the humidity & damp here that presents probs, doesnt seem to be so bad when its warm but they just dont dry out in the cool months. It is slightly warmer & moister here than Rodgers but only slightly. I only use terracotta pots & mix that is 60% sieved coal ash & 30% compost to keep it nice & open & dry'ish. |

| Well they are outside under a veranda on the north side of the house and the potting mix is dry, so I will bung them in the new stuff and start feeling less guilty . Thanks. |
