HI Guys,
I was working on the everlasting greenhouse and I thought I'd share some pics with you - this represents the majority of my collection - mainly Astropytum and Trichocereus with some others mixed in - I have some more inside the house but nothing special. I have been collecting for about 18 months. as you can see the greenhouse isn't finished
- and yes, I trip over all the time.

An impressive collection you have there WT. Lots of Astros, good to see.

Always nice to see a well stocked greenhouse. Looks like you are gonna need a larger property soon to house all your cacti Wink

I would love to move somewhere with more garden space. I would
build a bigger greenhouse too.
You see now why I wanted to get rid of the succulents!

I think as my collection grows I will have to be more specific about what
I collect and only buy special plants

Awesome! Lots of healthy cacti and quite neat and well-organised from my perspective...

I want, I want, I want a greenhouse!

Very impressive collection. Imagine what it's going to look like in 5, 10, 15, 20 years.

Are they Hoodias in the foreground of the second shot?

Thanks Guys. Smile

Squil, yeah they are Hoodias - H macrantha and H Ruchei <-- Spelling? , they are looking pretty sick at the moment; it’s either too much light or too cold. I have some seedlings inside which will hopefully make an appearance in the greenhouse this year.

PD: I was going to say that some people might recognise some of the plants - The ones I got from you are just starting to take off. Smile

I have to agree with everyone else - try stopping yourself from getting that unsual cactus coz ya not gunna get anymore. Believe me I have tried it and it doesn't work. I thought I would 'specialise' and stick with one species, then I saw some interesting gymno's and steno's and the thoughts went 'oh a few more won't hurt' lol!

Hi watertrade, nice looking lot there. I really like the consistancy in the topping gravel.

That’s my screened red granite - I wash and sieve buckets of
granite that I get for $5 for two. I get three sizes from course
granite sand - a small 7mm size and a larger 10mm size - I really like it - and
the price is good too. Smile

& to the others - I'll post again this time next year. I'll have about
13 really nice plants... and plenty of room in the greenhouse. You'll
see... Razz
