| A section I have in my book is on what crosses are possible, Ive done some exploration of this but Im now not in a situation where I can continue to grow them so Im asking for help. If you can be certian that a cross you made took then please enlighten me in this thread, also must insist your sure of the identification of the species as well Here is my table thus far. The way I did it was cross pollinate the very first flower produced by the plant, that way I could watch the development of the seed pod and see if any seeds were formed. I tried to reproduce the results more then once. The jourdaniana info is taken from the net. Kada I know you got koeh and fric to cross, got any others?
NSF= apparently not self fertile

| that is the only type i have gotten to set viable seed. the male had to be fricii. my koehresii pollen was not acepted by any of my fricii ladies
i have tried qilliamsii with koehresii with williamsii and diffusa...nothing. williamsii with fricii and diffusa....nothing. but i have not played a lot with them. next year i will be trying more hybrids as i will have a LOT more plants maturing then.
all my jourds are immature and yet to flower |
