| Don't have much to say about this one yet as I haven't had it that long. All I know is that I really like it alot and they are pretty rare too. Have wanted one for a long time and finally managed to get one. Wish I had more Turbinicarpus spp., they seem fairly hard to get. Here is a pic.

| Only have one other. A T. schwarzii, will post a pic, am kicking myself as I had the chance to also buy a T. jauernigii, it was either that or a Strombocactus disciformis. I chose the Strombo as I have been after one for a long time.
Wish I had had money for them both. Hopefully I will see another one soon.

| They certainly are nice lil plants, i just wish i could pollinate the lil buggers. Had no luck at all this past season and i have read somewhere that they self apparently?!?
I have three, a schwarzii a klinkerianus and an unknown and yes i want more, more dammit, more. |

I'm starting to think that is a myth. My T. schwarzii (seen above) flowered four times and I even tried hand pollinating and also I tried Xing with a Gymnocalycium fredriechii...
...nothing

| Just to add to the theme. My Schwarzii flowered this season twice, I think, but still no sucess. Hmmm there must be a trick to it ?
One thought is the age of the plants I have read older Turbinicarpus produce more seed that is more viable. My Schwarzii is about 3 yrs old, seed grown. Any thoughts ?
