I have a bunch of G. ragonesii, seedlings coming along, they are tiny though, are they pretty slow growing? These seedlings are about, from memory around 5 months old, smaller than a match head haha, can't wait to see them grow big. Maybe I will consider grafting a few.

Those G. baldianum are very tall, mine is more globbose, I wonder why? They certainly don't look etiolated, far from it, they look nice and healthy.

When mine decide to actually do a bit of growing, there will be atleast one with your name on it. Actually you came to mind when I bought the seed PD.

Yeah,
I have some ragonessi that are about 6 months old and they are less than match head size. I am hoping that they will shoot over next season, but I think it will a four year job before I can let go of them. Very Happy

Is it true that all gymnos are the quickest and easiest to get to flower?

Yours are awesome. I love the colours of the horstii - I think I will hunt some of them out.

I look forward to many more gymnos soon Smile

Gymnos flower really easily with a lot of light, but generally you need two to be flowering at the same time to cross pollinate them, even save the pollen from one until the other flowers.
Although, having said that - the horstii has never flowered yet and the damsii flowers all the time.

Oh NO!!! how embarrassing... it's been a long day and I am tired....

It wasn't a hortsii at all Sad it was a damsii

HAHAHA!!

Please forgive me - I picked it up because it looked so similar - but on closer inspection they're rather not similar!

I am so sorry for the confusion and the excitement - the damsii still has pups, I can post a photo of that if you want... It has two small ones on it and one of the free ones i have taken a photo of as well.
