HN; yes there is another small one on pereskiopsis that appears to have taken. Smile
that one pictured has since split right up the side because the pereskiopsis was pushing it too hard, but it doesn't really matter as it healed fine and has got a few pups coming through.

KanJe; i guess it should be fine in a greenhouse over winter?

here is an update for the seedlings from the previous page:

they seem to grow fine, just slow. I'll probably overwinter these ones in a propagator.

Lewis, Try watering the pereskiopsis with a smaller volume of liquid, but do it more frequently. In the end you will use the same amount of water but doing it this way stopped my seedlings from splitting.

Update:

its pupping lots and is growing fast! i hope for flowers soon, as its parent on own roots has buds now.

My Pereskiopsis has stopped growing. I move them all inside so they wouldn't lose their leaves.

Are yours still growing Lewis?

here is Mammillaria hernandezii in flower recently. how nice it is to have a late-flowering cactus to brighten up the day. Smile

(there we go, i think now the entire life cycle of this plant is in this thread now)
