Yep, I'm using Firefox 2 with Adblock, and I'm not getting any ads or popups anywhere. It also seems to stop most spyware in its tracks too.

Hmm, might think about getting firefox then, if it means no ads.

Ok, so how do I actually install the Adblock addon once I have downloaded the file? Or do I need to place the file in a directory? If so, which one? This is the first time I have tried firefox. And yes...my favicon works now Very Happy

Well, from memory after you've installed firefox, you run it as per usual. Under "Tools" there should be an item labelled "Add-ons". Typically, you find, install and run all new enhancements to firefox via this menu. The whole process should be largely automated and you shouldn't have to do too much yourself.
