There was so much more to go in it that I havent even started. I have actually split the book into 3 parts, beginners stuff, advanced stuff and botany and chemistry. Here is the updated index. The book will be changed to be specifically on growing Lophophora. Next one will include a legal section also.

Basic Techniques
Why Graft? 4
Grafting Basics 6
Choice of Stock 8
Growing Pereskiopsis sp 12
Sowing seed 16
Grafting to Pereskiopsis sp 17
Pollination 20
Re-grafting to other stock 22
Degrafting/ Taking Cuttings 23
Pests
Setup
Advanced Techniques
Hydroponics
Areole Grafting
Tissue Culture
Chimeras
Inducing freaks
Other tricky things.

Botany and chemistry of Lophophora
Taxonomy
Chemistry

The things in red is what I have not started because I hadnt tried it in practice. I can write several of those chapters using work other people have done but would rather try it myself and write from my experience. However now I dont really have that oppertunity in QLD. The Botany and chemistry would basically be a literature review of all the work done on lophs, much like trout has done in his san pedro books. That is somthing I can easily do anytime, likewise I was waiting for results of Martin Terry's research to add in the taxonomy section.

The inducing of freaks would be easy, I have access to seed/seedlings and also chemicals such as colchicine and UV light of appropriate wavelengths aswell as the respective safety requirements. But now Im not allowed to grow them in QLD it fucks that up.

I really wanted it to be interesting for beginnner and advanced a like. Anyway its taken a back seat now due to uni but Ill get it done.

If anyone can actually help with any of the sections feel free to contact me. Ive had limited problems with pests and whilst Ive had some fungal probs they have not really been severe enough to spend much time on the issue.

Some great info in your grafting book Teo. Highly recommended for anyone into grafting or who just want an interesting read. A word of caution, grafting cacti can become addictive......you've been warned Very Happy
