don't they grow on trees in the wild?

Yep they do Lewis, I am not going to mount these as I have to give them warmth and a pot is easier to put of the heat mat. They would not like our cold winters at all as they grow in tropical climates

G'day Betty, Have the ants moved in yet? if not I've got a few billion Argentine ants you can have! Laughing
I like this plant, a late friend of mine had one once, she struggled to keep it alive here in Tas. Dunno what happened to it in the end, but it is one intriguing plant.

Cheers, CP.

CP I am struggling with the bigger one and have since got two others that are doing OK on the heat mat. I also got sent some seeds kindly sent to me last week from seeds collected up on the North Coast of Queensland so I will sow these after the big shift early November.

I have the feeling these plants will be spending a lot of their time on the heat mat under lights particularly with cool nights. Yikes what have I got myself into.............I swore never to have plants that neat heat and humidity and here I am doing just that Laughing
