I came home this afternoon to find my first seed grown plant in flower.
Not the most spectacular flower but I'm excited nonetheless! I've got about 10 plants left from the 15-20 seeds I sowed, only 1 other is growing a flower bud this year.

That's really cool. From seed to flowering plant is always a nice accomplishment.

Plus, Faucarias are always really cute, happy-looking little plants...

Thats great i love growing from seed makes you feel great when they flower. If your ever after any seed let me know waht you want i might have it i dont mind giving small amounts away.

Do they always have yellow flowers or are there other forms available? I can't wait until mine grows into a mound that big..

I recently purchased a couple with white flowers which i hope to propagate from when i get some excess seed of this will offer it for free.

Wow, are those clumps from seed? How old are they?

The close ups are about four to five i think. The big clump is made up of several different seedlings slight variation have to look close to notice.

Got home today and noticed the white one was flowering.

The top photo is not F. tigrina, it is one of the many hybrids with F. tuberculosa in its parentage.
