My first impressions of peri HERE is that I probably won't be able to use it. It doesn't seem to like Tassie winters. My cutting have all suffered tip death out in the greenhouse.

Its not looking the healthiest but i notice what might be offset coming from the areole which could be interesting as it is hanazono x super neither parents had offsets so it maybe because of grafting now if it is offsetting and has hanazono traits i could be interesting to see how this one develops ill keep everyone updated on this.

My thoughts on peri its a bit early to tell cant wait till warmer weather two things i like the fact you can propagate peri easy for grafting and i like the fact that you get good union or join with peri and so success rates look good one thing i know ill be grafting around 500 plants this spring summer cant wait.

hey whats up, the grafts turned out awesome!! keep it updated don't forget to prop the stock as the scion get bigger! I am also curious about what grow rates you will have with those long and wide stocks. It might even be another Pereskiopsis species, than I am using..

I have been really busy with work so i didnt get around to doing as many grafts as i would like so ill have to wait now till march. I have shown a pic of one of my grafts it is showing hanazono characteristics at a young age i am happy with this one. They could have grown much more but i simply have not had the time to nurture them. After my trail with periskiopsis grafting i am still in favour of using harrissia as those little spines on peri are so annoying i think both have there own benefits.
