| I'm going on vacation and I'll be away for at least two months. Will my cacti survive this and should I do anything to protect them? Can / should I leave them in the sun? And yes, I live in the northern hemisphere.
Ideally I would want my cacti not only to survive but to grow. Perhaps the cotton string trick would work? (Although yes, I know they want to dry in between...) |

| What sort of cacti do you have? Some plants are extremely drought tolerant; others less so. |

| Some are (probably) echiopsis pachanoi and others I have actually no idea. |

| If you could post some photos it may be helpful. I know that pachanoi likes both water and fertillising during the warmer months... as do many cacti, so this is a factor you may want to consider. |
