These are photos i took when at lesters place in 08 i asked him if it was ok to post pics on here and he said it was fine.

A funny story about this it was a monday at work the job i was on i was to finsh on wednesday prior to all of this i had bought several mail orders from him and was very happy i thought gee i would love to go there so i said to my lovely wife how about a road trip. So thursday morning we got in the car and set off not knowing what to expect. Now gilgandra from adelaide is thirteen hour drive so yes im crazy when it comes to cactus. First stop mildura for a break then onto a relative in parkes stayed there the night then first thing drove onto gilgandra getting there about lunchtime friday not much to do in gilgandra and we waited till two when lester opened up for us. Then it started by now i am hyperventilating my heart is racing i ran around like a mad man taking as many photos as i could, two hours later we said see you at eight in the morning left had dinner and an early night. Eight oclock and there i am keen as mustard to start picking out the plants i wanted to buy. Lester was very helpful and always has been to me by now the time was two oclock evrything packed in the car ready for home. I was totally blown away by his collection and still i would love to one day have some thing like this maybe i will. This is thirty + years of work truly inspiring to anyone keen on cactus. Anyway two thirty we left lesters for long drive home this time we thought since i was born in broken hill we will drive back that way boy what a long lonely boring drive home atleast i was still on a high form lesters got to broken hill about 10:30 at night i thought no lets keep driving so i did thirteen hours straight back from gilly only cause i was on such a high but never again and never that way. Im going back in spring cant wait wont rush it though. I will let the photos do the talking now any questions please ask any feed back is great. I did a cd of photos lots to many for here so i will just do the good pics.

I just love seeing mature plants and they are everywere here ill show more pics tomorrow.

Although i have more photos of outside ill show them later now onto the inside. Photos might look ok but they just dont do it justice.

Poor lester i spoke to him yesterday he said he is repotting entire collection half this year half next. Thats alot of repotting.
