| All I can say is WOW!!!. I do have a question though.With his collection so big, how does he manage to water everything???? Does he have drip systems in place or something? |

| Ruthie im sure he waters all by hose and not very often another question to ask him whether he waters certain plants more than others. I also noticed that he grows in nearly all sand. |

| That has got to be the finest cactus collection I have ever seen. (I think that I'll have to go on some sort of a pilgrimage to see it in person.) Thanks for putting up those amazing photos!
Obviously Lester knows a thing or two about growing cacti. It was interesting to learn that he uses so much sand in the potting mix.
I was wondering what kind of shelter he provides for his plants. From the photos it looks like a large 'alsynite" clad shed or greenhouse. I'm curious because I was thinking of giving my cacti some kind of cover - they're just out in the elements at the moment. |
