| Well, it seems the skies are starting to clear and despite the mornings being chilly, spring is undoubtedly on the way. So, what are everyones' plans for the coming warmer months?
Personally, I have a heap of seed that will be sowed... |

| Yes, Spring is certainly here, even if it's "unofficially" ! Quite a few plants in flower out in the greenhouse at the moment too. First lot of seed has been in a few weeks and is mostly up now with much more yet to be sown.... |

| Well for me it's just a matter of putting the covers on a couple of old greenhouses I've been fixing up. I know they are a bit rough but you should see what I started with. Besides I like the idea of recycling. In this case it's a bit of an envoronmental opportunity, that's a fancy way of saying I get to be a cheap skate while claiming I am avoiding impacting the environment. This is a before photo. Then a bit of bench rehabilitation and... let the repotting begin! There is about a hundred and fifty meters of bench frame under here...I wonder how many snakes?!... |

| ENVYENVY ENVY!! Id love to have that much land and all those old frames and some hard yakka to make it all worthwhile, you are a lucky man. now I feel my pissy greenhouse project was all for nothing. Cant wait to see a few years from now when there full of plants sales. |

| Well I only rent them so don't be too envious, and as for hard yakka well I've had enough of that, I levelled and rolled the floor by hand and that is a bad idea on over 600square meters of heavy clay, not to mention doing the job all on my own makes for some lonely hours. But I feel now that spring is in the air all the work will be worth it and I can finally try my hand at being a nurseryman... And trust me, any greenhouse project is worthwhile, your one leaves my first attempts for dead. |

| Ahh... the greenhouse pics finally make it to the web! This is one project that has to be seen "in the flesh" to be truly appreciated. | Quote: | | I wonder how many snakes?!... |
Well... on the plus side the snakes will keep any rats and mice at bay. |
