As most of you would be aware we have some new "Google" ads at the top of the forum. I really hate these intrusive ads particularly since ACF have no control whatsoever over the content or manner in which they are presented. I am going to try and have them removed or at least toned back the text style we had before.

What ads ?? Firefox plus NoScript plug in means I'm not even seeing them !

They're coming from Zx5.net if that helps anyone block them.....

i wouldnt know how to stop them but yes annoying as hell

Firefox is great for its diversity of really useful add-ins. At the moment I'm forced to use a laptop where I don't have admin status, so I can't install it and therefore I have to make-do with an ancient version of Explorer. And yes, the ads are driving me spare!

As soon as I have my own functioning computer again I'll be going straight back to Firefox and blocking these and other ads.

It'll save on download limits too, and it speeds things up. Well worth the effort.

Seems to be fixed now. And thats the first thing I noticed when I logged in just now.

We are back to text ads for the time being, who knows how long that will last. I'm working on removing them all together and hopefully upgrading some of the forum features such as the gallery etc.
