No, I'm not going all biblical on you... but it seems the plague of locusts that are munching in more northern regions are headed towards Melbourne, and are now as far south as Rye on the southern Mornington Peninsula:

Locusts blow into Melbourne (ABC News)

Has anyone out there encountered these bloody things yet? Any casualties?
