Lucky enough to have this guy still flowering away when I got home from work the other night. First Tephrocactus flower for me I think and not a bad little show either...

Oh wow... that's a beauty. This is one of the first Tephros that I got and is still one of my favourites. Admittedly, I still haven't got any blooms from mine. Any tips?

G'Day Lachy,

I suspect lots of light and heat might help as mine is on the top shelf so it gets pretty hot...

I've also heard that early watering can cause buds to abort. By this I mean watering when spring rolls around, rather than when the plant starts looking crinkled.

I haven't experimented with this yet though.
