I have just finished a cross pollination of the two plants pictured below, the red flower is not as vibrant as the others I have but it happened to be in flower at the time.
I think both plants have strong genetics and should produce a good result crossed either way.

You have a very good Akabana kabuto.
Since stigmas of both plants are normal, I think they can form seeds.
Some Akabana kabuto have abnormal stigma and can not form seeds.

The top one is a Hanaizumi super but I can not see the character of Hanaizumi on the photo.
Hanaizumi character will apear on mature plants and so you have to wait a few years.

Thanks for the compliments, I have not been able to tell myself if the Hanaizumi will put out multiple flowers from an areole, they form so close together in the centre I cannot tell. I will have a closer inspection over the next few weeks.

Yes, it is difficult to judge because flowers come out from the centre.
The attached photo is Hanaizumi super. It is difficult to judge from flower buds.
When flowers were finished, the evidence of Hanaizumi would be appeared on areole.
