Sounds like you're all set and ready to go. Good to hear. Look forward to seeing those pics. Like to hear more of your adventures with the Ferocactus grafting. This has certainly piqued my interest.

Ok, update time. I did a whole series of grafting techniques on these, including using the root half of the seedling in some of the grafts, and some of these have multiple sections of the seedlings on different branches of the peres. In total there's over 100 grafted plants here. This is a panorama photo of the ACM / peres graft forest.

I'll keep track here of the failure rates of the different kinds of grafts as time goes on.

Ok, time for an update. I have lost about 15% of these since I started. However the ones that are growing are doing so by leaps and bounds. This is a photo of the most advanced one, mind you these were seeds in November, and grafted in January.



I'd say they are going along well. This one has 4 tubercles, the smallest is just coming out.
Later this year, I may trade a few of them, as I have over 80 now.

A quick note on the size of this, it measures over 6cm! I just couldn't hold the calipers still for the photo.

Thanks, I am working on growing a whole tray of Aztekiums as well. Those are next up.
