diddi

This is the first time I have had Echinocereus rigidissimus var rubrispinus flower, I will check whether it will open tomorrow. Likewise, I guess they last around a day to 2-3 days.

The Lobivia arachnacantha flowers tended to last around 2 days. However some plants in the echinopsis/lobivia/trichocereus complex have flowers that last only a day.

Wait for this one to flower, interesting plant, but ferocacti tend to have curved fish hook spines, and exude nectar from ther areoles. I don't know much about Ferocacti because I only have one.

With those hairy buds I'd be guessing someting in the Echinopsis genus.

Hard to tell from the pics but I'd guess either Rhipsalis or Lepismium based on the flowers.

@Snowfella: Both species look rather similar, but I lean more toward Lepismium because the flower buds of the other don't look like wha I have here, I cannot take a picture.

From memory, the one I found has furry flower buds... (?)

Thanks Kandahar and Snowfella, it's been so long since I've had them I really have no idea where or how I got them.
The other one may have stopped flowering, they're at my Mum's place and I haven't seen it flower for ages. She didn't repot the other one for ages so i think it's recovering still.

Here's a new mamm I got at Collector's Corner on Saturday, my friend took me along to their big fossil sale but I bought cactus instead Smile

and a coryphanthus, I have just started collecting these. My others have tick spines so I thought this one was interesting. Just about to flower, but we had a cold day here as usual. Lots of offsets too

SnowFella was on the right track with his first guess. The plant in question is most dependently Ferocactus Glaucescens Smile
