Hi I'm Ali,

Yesterday I went to my local garden center and brought a Stenocactus, and since I am new to all things spiky, I thought I'd better find out how to keep it alive.....
(I have a habit of unintentionally killing plants)  Rolling Eyes

"How hard can it be to keep a cacti alive" ? I asked myself when I bought it....and from what I found on the web, I think that I can manage.

Just in case I have joined this forum to help me and "Fred"  I don't normally name my plants, but this one just happens to be living in a skull pot Laughing  So the "Brain" is now called Fred  Laughing

Also I don't see me just keeping one cacti, as I have seen some nice "fluffy" ones as well....

As you can probably tell I know nothing about "proper names" ect  so am here to learn  cheers

Well that's all for now, I'm off for a wander round the forum to learn stuff......  Very Happy

Hiya, love the fluffy cacti, they can be a bit deceptive. Catch you soon.

Welcome. The names will come to you, almost effortlessly just from doing what you are doing already.
