Hi all, would any one have a list of cacti species that do self pollinate and ones that don't...

Cheers

Most don't and those that do yield more seed from cross pollinated flowers. That said if there is a list available anywhere of all cacti I would really like to have aread of it. It's a good idea San.

Note: Not sure if this is the right place for this topic though, might be better suited to the propagation forum as it directly relates to cactus fertility and breeding? Was just a thought.

There is a list of self-fertile plants, however I've just switched computers and don't have the link anymore. Give me a day or so and I think I can find it.

From memory, it was not in english (maybe french or german?), however latin binomials don't change and the rest was pretty easy to figure out.

its probably the same one that Lachy refers to, it is in a different language but you can still make sense of it.

Looks good, though haven't had a chance to have a decent look. What language is it in. I might try and translate it to make it easier for everyone here.
