Just great to have you and Florencia as members here at the ACF. I have had a look through alot of your pictures and they are truly amazing. It is rare for us Australians to get to see so many Chilean cacti in their natural habitats.

Hope to see many posts by you two, you both seem like dedicated cactophiles, a truly worthy pursuit in my eyes. You are so lucky to be able to get out amongst the cacti and be with them and spend time in their presence, very lucky indeed.

I will add that your pictures are verging on the obscene. For us cactophiles seeing such amazing cacti in habitat is truly pornographic (in a good way), yes we are a strange bunch, but we love cacti and that's all that matters.

Again, great to have you two on board.

Nice didj Juan. Wow that field of Copiapoa is truly awe inspiring. Why are they all leaning to one side? I assume they are leaning into the sun?

Must get over to Chile one day just to see the cacti, but Mexico will be my first port of call, so many cacti to see. One day hopefully.

great photos - even had a look and Yes you can see you at the top of the hill with your digi - Not sure how you managed to walk up with some many fantastic cacti just growing in their natural habitat!

Single horse power engines to pull out boats from the water - awesome, here we just use thumping great land cruisers with several hundred horse power. Your way looks so more relaxing.
