When to sow

Looking at ferrocactus and echinopsis among others.
If raising from seed do I need to wait until spring to sow?

if you have a heat mat then you can start seeds all year round. if you are relying on natural temperatures waiting until spring is a wise choice Wink

Like Lewis said spring but the day time temps need to be in the high 20C's
