It feels like spring has sprung... The grass has riz... I have flowers on my cactusessss

Yep... I am stoked! My first flowers this season:

1. The cacti that is in my display pic flowered - I nearly missed it to! I was lucky. I just happened to look out of the window while going to the toilet and saw the bright yellow stem! This photo was yesterday. Today it's all whithered!



2. A notocactus um..... something or other....

looks like you have:
1. Thelocactus/Ferocactus/Hamatocactus setispinus.
2. Notocactus/Parodia uebelmannianus (now P.werneri apparently).

Thanks Lewis... the second one is what the label says - you got that - but I was very unaware of the first one.. so thanks for that!

Wonder if it will go to seed??? What's the chances?
