PostSubject: species maintenance   Sun Aug 03, 2008 9:31 am

What do PPL think of the idear of species maintenance?
Since there are so many Spp. that we cant import any more & there is allways the threat that these spp will die out in australia and no guarantee that we will be able to get them in again. For eg. Myrtillocactus spp are all prohibited but many of us grow them if only as rootstocks.
Perhaps we as growers should get our poop together & do our best to make sure these species are still available for our kids & grandkids.
Any idears PPL?
