Ok this one is tricky - mainly because of the pic. all the info I have is...

- I have a tall cactus plant similar to the one in the picture 2 Meters
tall.. it has tipped over in the wind and now it needs to be
rescued...in great condition..needs 2 people to transport and a blanket
or gloves to remove from the ground.."

and

- i
t has 1 stem and then lots of stems atleast 1000 thin long spikey arms all clustered together."

and this pretty grainy pic.
any ideas???

Kinda looks like one of those common Euphorbia spp. that you see in gardens. Not sure of the species but it's that columnular form with many branches that makes me think that is what it is. 2m sounds about right too?

It may not be though as the pic is VERY grainy. Does look alot like it me though.

on the downside you can't graft cacti to it and it lacks beautiful cactus flowers and it's a weed and also rather ugly IMO.
on the upside its just about unkillable and extremely hardy.

I have a few Euphorbia that I have picked up along the way - and they are ugly - I was hoping they might get interesting with some care and love

- interesting I guess.... but ugly. Smile
