Looks like a Cereus to me. Probably peruvianus.

Nice enough specimen, and if there's not a big one in a garden near you to provide a cutting then a fair deal for $6!

The question was a bit tongue in cheek - I think I can write off 6 dollars without too much worry.
Cool if it's a c peruvianus. Happy with that.

I agree Cereus spination looks abit different to C. peruvianus though.

6 bucks is a bargain. I take it you don't buy cacti off ebay then Very Happy
