PostSubject: emergency graft   Sun Oct 26, 2008 1:13 pm

this little Uelbelmannia pectinifera was going very well (surviving a melbourne winter on its own roots) until i accidently knocked it off a bench Embarassed and it had a rather rough fall. on impact the base sustained a serious crack as well as serious root damage. this morning i grafted it to what i had lying around.. a large rooted cereus peruvianus cutting that has been growing extremely vigorously. hopefully it takes.

at least if it does take it will grow a lot faster and be easier to manage.

Sorry to hear about that. As HN says though, looks to be a good graft and hopefully it will thrive. Best of luck.
