| I bought seeds of Discocactus heptacanthus v silicola and v griseus, 20 seeds each, and sowed 31/08/06. No germination from silicola but it showed good germination ratio on griseus. I had seen a photo of silicola and wanted to get plants. I had never seen any photos and plants of griseus. I grafted 12 griseus seedlings. Plants started flowering from last year. 3 different appearace plants are mixed in 12 and I am not sure which one is correct v griseus. The photo attached is one of v griseus, plant diameter is about 11 cm.  |

| I love how there are petals further down the stem. The flowers are beautiful. I dont have any Discocactus, I wouldnt mind getting a couple... they are really nice. |

The scent of flowers is very nice. It is hard to describe in word but I think the best of all in cactus flowers.
