Hey all.

About a month ago I planted ten Stapelia gettliffei seeds, and they germinated a few days later. Two out of seven that came up at that time were white, but I wasn't sure at the time if they were albino or just pale from shading. I've just returned from two weeks of fieldwork and it's obvious now that indeed they were albinos, although one has died. The other is the same height as the green seedlings (around 4cm) and seems to be fine for the moment.

I'm wondering if it's possible to graft staps, but since the other seedlings are no larger I'm not sure how much growth could be afforded to an albino graft by a stock that is only a few cm high at the most. I have a couple of stap cuttings of other species, but I'm not sure if grafting to larger diameter stock would work in the same way as it does for cacti.

Any advice/suggestions?

it work! usualy in italy we use stapelia gigantea or grandiflora cuttings, for non albino plants you can use ceropegia bulbs finely!
