Really nice CP.
I really like the myrio on the bottom left. I like the amount of petals she has.
Very beautiful.

good ol myriostigmas.. tough and reliable flowerers once they get going..mine flower continuously from spring, summer into autumn. i stopped posting flower pics of them as seeing the same plant in flower again and again and again would get rather boring.
i have some trouble getting seed on them though.. only a few times benn successful.. even though i cross pollinate with other myrios, hakuun, other astros. anyone else experience this?

Dunno mate, I didn't know there was a secret! I've got these growing in the brightest part of the g/h, where they get pretty warm. I've also got a nude ornatum... you have to wait till she's got her "bloomers" on to see her too.

Lewis
This is one of my myriostigma v nudum. It may be hard to see but the stigma of right side flower has not opend yet. I some times forced to pollinate on unopend stigama and failed to get seed.
Do you wait until a stigma to open completely when you pollinate?

Thats really nice Hanazono.
I love the indented ribs, signs of maturity really gives her character.
I'm a little jealous.

Once I get camera back I'll be sure to post some of my astros, even if they are not in flower.

Yep as far as I'm aware it must be fully open to accept any pollen.

That is a fine example of a Myrio Kikko nudum. I love it Smile
