Nice plants Michael!
Here in Italy we use smaller plastic pots for own roots astro.
To give an idea plant/pot -> all like your myrio nudum.

Thats a nice collection of Astros you have there Michael.
I dont have a Lotusland yet but I'm hoping to get a cutting soon enough.

As to the last comment, I'm pretty sure that Astros prefer a smaller pots as I'm told by other Astro collectors.

None of my Astros are growing atm, I think they need to adjust to the new house first.

I also use smaller plastic pots for convenience and because they don't take up much room and are widely available locally. Michael's myrio nudum would fit in very well in my collection (not that im suggesting anything mate Razz ).
of course what a grower usues all comes down to availability and their conditions. whilst some of the plants pictured may appear somewhat overpotted, i see many of the pots Michael is using are porous clay and will dry out fast anyway. if it drains and dries out cacti will grow in it. in any case the plants look healthy enough so i see no need to change them.
If you don't have a problem don't search for a solution. Wink

ps. i really like that triple headed myriostigma x ornatum. Smile can i see a close up? and your Super Kabuto almost has small v-type markings near the areoles, very attractive.

Thanks all.
Yeh im aware of the over potting, on a geat scale.. Im not really fussed if they dont go crazy, its just for the eye. I will leave them as is for now, but if any problems rise, ill then re-pot them. Im not a fan of the square black squat pots, but i havent got the collection where i have no other choice but to use them for space. But now i think about it, i have a heap of odd pots, some round, some square, some big, some small. I think ill goto bunnings or somewhere and buy a heap, then re-pot alot of my plants. For the 100th time haha.
I would have left the Asterias/SK/Myrio in their own pots, but i dropped the box i was carrying them in, so i thought id pot them up.

If you dont get a cutting or Offset Kanje, once myne are a bit bigger, ill send you one, theyre too small at the moment.

Hahaha if you want it so bad Lewis, coulda grabbed it before me.. Altho... theres a nice SK in a clay pot with scorria as a top layer in it... hahaha in my dreams Sad

Yeh ill get a photo sometime today hopefully. Its not MyrioxOrnatum, its just an Ornatum.
Thats what i thought when i 1st picked it up Smile
