Yes they look albino. There are two options, it will either die in a week or so unless grafted, or it will begin to photosynthesize and turn green. You don't have long Now looks like the best time to graft.

I need smaller fingers - I will be back in 4 days so will see what has happened in that time I have been looking at them for a while thinking.. 'that rock looks like a seedling... cool' do you think Hylocereus would be the best option? pereskopsis?

pereskiopsis...no messing around with things like that hylo is more touchy and easier to die with seedlings i think. the other 3 look promising for variegated as well

I've only done a few Turbini grafts but found they take on pereskiopsis fairly easy, much like arios. The problem is as cortona said white seedlings are more difficult and un predictable. Only ever had two and lost them both. As for the Arios, they most likly are variegated or similar. There is a good chance of getting ario mutations, much higher than most other sp. The problem is keeping them alive Good luck mate

| Sorry to hear that WT. I also feel your pain. Just lost an Astro caput-medusae and an Ario furf (variegated) to peres grafting. There is definitely a lot of hit n' miss involved with peres grafting.
Though looks like my two T. lophophoroides (normal/non-freak) made it, fingers crossed.
Try and try again I say. _________________ コレクタ
