| i tried for 3 years to get live jourd's here....never made it through....i gave up and did the seed route....slow and steady wins the race lol.
"i can't get over the self-rooted crested one... that plant would cost more than a car here!"
i have bought a car for less money than what i bought that for originally.....that sounds bad when i say it myself lol...
you got anything on your plate lewis? |

| isn't jourdaniana supposed to be a hybrid of a loph with a mamm or turb? can i make one myself? lol actually i reeally want one of em spiny Turbinophoras, i think they're just the coolest thing ever. does anyone know what loph and turb species to use? i saw a superb self-rooted good sized one for sale last year here but it was too pricey for me at the time. it had small turbinicarpus spines on an otherwise lopho body and supposedly had 'crimson' flowers and was definitely legit. great stuff. sorta like a larger specimen of this random one from the net. has anyone here got one? if so i'd like to hear the specific species parentage and a pic if possible. more here. |

| The two I have heard of having the best success is Turbinicarpus lophophoroides X Lophophora williamsii. This sometimes known as Lophoturbina. _________________ コレクタ

| usually she really digs into me when i come home from any nursery (i am cheaper than anything, but at a nursery ill drop tons of cash and think i got a bargain, but all my clothes have holes and some kind of stains from various things in the garden)
BUT
she bought that for me for my birthday...i damn near crapped myself when she said she'd get it! so did the guy we bought it from lol. |

| I have recently grafted a few Lopho Jourdaniana to Pereskiopsis. One of them is a two header....I will put a pic when I get a chance. They are still small. |
