Hey Arioboy, welcome to the forum.

That's an awesome plant, how old is it?
It's the kind cacti I hope to have in the last half of my life...lol.

Also, what are the cacti behind the Ariocarpus?

Hey, Arioboy...

Your english is fine, no stress there Smile

They are great cacti, impressive collection from the pics there... Is the rock chip just a layer at the top, or are you growing the arios in it full stop?

Where do you source your collection, i guess there are a few growers over there, or are some of them wild collected (seeing as that is the area they come from?) (I hope that's not a bad question?)

I wish we had access to plants like that over here in Aus... One day... I';m with you Kanje... a lifelong wait for the beauty of a cactus Smile

Hi gilligan!

Is the rock chip just a layer at the top ---> Yes, only at the top 2cm aprox.

My plants that I have: I bought, exchange and from the wild.

I wish we had access to plants like that over here in Aus... One day... I';m with you Kanje... a lifelong wait for the beauty of a cactus. ---> Yes. Ariocarpus grow so slowly. And I don't know if I can send plants to Australia. I think only seds.

Have a good day!

Nah, no plants will make it here, unfortunately, and even seeds are difficult at times... They can get through though Wink

The long time to grow them to that stage is the fun of growing them though, nurturing them to get to that stage...

Those are some fantastic plants that you have there. Unfortunately, most of us here in Australia can only dream of possessing some of the plants that you have.
