PostSubject: Top heavy seedling   Sat Apr 11, 2009 6:55 pm

Here's one of my pachycereus marginatus sedlings

It's a bit top heavy as you can see. Will it grow more robust? Should I support it with some gravel/sand?
When the initial two leaves came up was there too little light?
Any answers - including 'dry your eyes princess - that's natural' are welcome :-)

dry your eyes princess - that's natural Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

notice how seed grown plants are always skinny at the base? they start small and as they grow, if in good light and conditions, will fatten up nicely. top heavy is good because it means its growing bigger....maybe yours could be fatter, but it looks great to me. i would add some sand to support it though Smile

Cool - will add sand.
I suppose that will be good to keep the mushroom flies away too. Just wasn't sure if it would rot if I covered it up.
Thanks m8.
