Pediocactus Knowltonii Crest. Grafted this one because it was a double header, just after grafting one of the heads went into cristation. I grafted it in February I think.

Just did a quick search and it seems this is pretty rare, I can't find another pic anywhere. Anyone have one or a pic of a bigger one ?

I haven't seen many of this genus in Aus in general, but i'm pretty sure i saw a large grafted specimen of this species at a certain cactus show last year.

Pediocactus reputedly refuse to grow on their own roots in cultivation.
do you have any larger specimens?

No I only have a few other seedlings.....still really small. I had a grafted Cristate Toumeya Papyrcantha but it got wet, real wet, when I was moving houses and it died
