| a bit of a story there ,driving to work fast one morning i accidentilly hit an emu ,and feeling bad and not wanting to waste this poor creature and also wanting to pay for the damage to the front of my car decided to compost the emus body ,it was left in a garbage bin away from the nose for a year and mixed in was leaf mulch...what resulted was a black sweet smelling compost which i top dressed this epi with ...lol, i think she like it  |

| I've seen photos of Epiphylum (or possibly Zygocactus; it's been a while) grafted to some sort of columnar stock, possibly a Trich of some flavour. The result was something almost like a standard rose: a tall stock, with a burst of greenery and flowers coming out of the top. |
