Can anyone ID this cacti, I found them growing near Swan Hill

Looks like tricho Trichocereus Spatchianus to me, tho they dont seem tall enough. nice sized at any rate. worthy of a cutting or two.

OMG free grafting stocks!

or for potted specimens in their own right or the garden!

i agree with AmnesiA, they look like Trichocereus spachianus (now referred to as Echinopsis spachiana).

they have large white flowers.
and they are incredibly hardy.
they grow well from cuttings
and can grow very quickly, under ideal conditions.

Thanks I managed to dig some out with a little help and have some with roots on that I will potting up when I get back home, also got some others that were growing in someones garden and they were happy to let me have a few, Will post pick soon for ID.

Ended up with 10 of these that I got from someones garden and it did not even look like I had touched their nice cluster, could someone help me out on the ID Thanks

Eric,

The plant you posted above looks like an Echinopsis hybrid.
