hey just wondering what people think the best way to graft a cristate pup onto a trich spp. Have a few samll chunks of different cristates and would like to graft for quicker growth. No idea how the vascular ring is going to look on them, looks a bit difficult. any pointers appreciated

*waits patiently*

Ginganinja (cool name btw), you raise a good point. I'd always seen crests that were grafted and thought they were pretty cool, however I'd never considered how their vascular bundles would be affected by their irregular growth. I'd hazard a guess that if at least some of the vascular bundles were alligned with those of the stock the graft should work, but I have no idea about how this would work in practice.

they actually have abigger vascular sack than normal ones. in that sense they are easier to graft.

they are kind of like a rectangle...think Oputnia cross section cyclops

Yeah I was goin g to say the vascular bundle would be long and narrow rather than circular. Thanks for doing the crest graft write up, will have a good read of it and give it a gho next season.
