PostSubject: Albino Hylocereus seedling?   Fri Nov 13, 2009 11:07 am

Hi everyone, I'm growing some hylocereus costaricensis from seed and I've noticed one seems to have no chlorophyll. I've attached 2 photos, one of an identical seedling which seems to be growing normally, as well as the 'albino' one. They're not really in focus but I guess that doesn't matter so much. Just wondering if this is normal and it will green up over time, or whether it really does not have any chlorophyll. If so, is there any way I can keep it alive?

Thanks.

Oh-oh, I don't want to stuff this up. Where do I cut? In that photo, on the stem as it begins to darken, would that be ok (maybe a bit lower)? Will be my first graft.. heh.
