| These have been rescued from a pot choked in weeds. I know number two is a Euphorbia but I am not sure what sort, it either has a really long root or has been planted too deeply. The last one has me baffled (clickable thumbnails)    |

| HI number two is a euphorbia which is not a cactus, not sure of type, but beware of the white sap it exudes if damaged can be very nasty indeed |

| 3rd looks like a lobivia and a nice size too. need to get a flower of it and post Agree 1st is 100% Haku-jo but lost it's furry edges  It could revive into a nice looking cactus in time though. -A |

| Well I think they all need a little extra coddling, they were a bit sad looking. I'll post a pic if I can get any flowers from the lobivia, they might be feeling happier soon |

| G'day, #1 is Echinopsis cv "Haku Jo"  #2 is Euphorbia cv "Green Elf"  #3 is Echinopsis (Lobivia) ancistrophora ssp. arachnacantha. Flower colour varies, ...white through to red.  Nice plants! CP |

| I thought the first one looked more like a pachycereus based on the fluff on the edge of the ribs. |

| Aha, thanks for that CactusPoleCat! My girlfriend has a couple of very small specimens of Lobivia ancistrophora ssp. arachnacantha in community pots. I had thought they were Parodia werneri (Notocactus uebelmannianus), judging by their appearance compared to a more mature plant of the latter species, but when looking at your photo, there's no doubt it's the former. Explains why one of them has offsets already. |
