Help! Something is eating my Lophophora. I found a slimy track leading away from it. It was going around in circles and doing lots of funny zig zags. I failed to find the culprit but I think it has to be a snail or a slug. Has anyone else had this happen?

I've not personally had any slugs or snails eat my Lophophoras, but have heard from other people of it happening. I have had a rat take a bite out of one though, but it preferred my Lithops, chewing on several and eating one entirely!

Yep, I've had a similar thing happen. I had what I presume was a slug eat the growing point out of an Echinopsis. It sort of munched out this weird pattern, but never came back for a second go. The plant is healing now quite well although obviously the scar will remain.
