What's the stock on last photo? Selinicereus?? I tried something like this recently and it seems very good! Does it last a lot? Does it tolerate negligence / too much water? Mine seems to.

Yes, it is selenicereus, it is more nice to see and long lasting than pereskiopsis.

May I add? easier to handle [no glochids] , easier to make graft on unrooted stock.

what about cold hardiness?

We keep 8°C as minimum temperature during winter and they work well. You can water also a bit, because they can dry. I didn't notice cold spots like peresk do, but I think they prefer a warm temperature during winter.
