| Hello Davide, nice to see you over here. Nice bunch of Copiapoas you have. I'm a fan of these South American beauties. They do quite well here in Tas. I have a few specimens, some seed grown, but don't often see them for sale down here.
Cheers.

| Nice plants Aajooo...
Copiapoa's are pretty popular here due in part to Rudolf Schulz, who has written a number of books on them, having his nursery here for many years...
Alas, he's "retired" now, and the nursery is no more...a big loss for us down here... |

| Those are some really nice plants. I must admit; I've had rather poor luck with Copiapoa. In my care, they seem rather light sensitive. Too much light and they fry... but too little light and they etiolate. Any tips on finding a happy medium? |

| hello Lachy you should try with some mist over the plants... in the morning and after the hottest hours of the day. Copiapoas can survive thanks to the fog, not of rains. Sometimes it never rains. BUT they have EVERYDAY a fog that come from the ocean (starting at 18:00 aprox until next morning until 12:00 aprox). So, during the whole night, they receive mist. good luck! |

I have 3 copis, 2 own root I recently got and one grafted now. I actually have that haseltoniana cinerea you posted. I hoped it would be more gray/cinerea, but nevermind. |

| That's a really nice collection aajoo. I don't have any Copiapoas any more but I should get back into them. I really want to go and see them in the wild though. |
